Japanese Sandwich Griddle: S’mores

Griddled S'mores
Serves 1 

INGREDIENTS

2 slices OMM Whole Wheat bread 
2 oz almond butter 
2 oz dark chocolate (I like Taza), broken into pieces  
4 large marshmallows (about 1 oz)  
Powdered sugar for serving 

INSTRUCTIONS

1. On a slice of bread, spread half of the almond butter. Top with the chocolate and marshmallows. Spread the remaining almond butter on the other slice of bread and set atop the the sandwich.

2. Transfer the sandwich to the griddle, secure, and set over medium heat. Cook, flipping after 2 minutes, until the bread is browned and the chocolate is melted, about 5 minutes. Slice in half on the diagonal, sprinkle with the sugar, and serve.
