Griddled Shaved Steak Sandwiches with Provolone and Hot Cherry Peppers

Our new breads are versatile (and special) enough to star on a date night menu. Take these sandwiches - Griddled Shaved Steak Sandwiches with Provolone and Hot Cherry Peppers - which elevate the Philly classic with a decidedly fresh-milled, Italian vibe. The formula is easy, but the results are super fancy. Pick up a loaf of our flavor-packed Everything bread as well as ¾ lb. shaved steak. Sprinkle the steak generously with salt and pepper and then sauté in 1 Tbs. olive oil (in a nonstick skillet) until browned. Top with a couple slices of provolone and a good sprinkling of grated Parmigiano (about ½ cup), some brined hot cherry peppers and a handful of lightly dressed baby arugula (about 2 oz). Grab 4 slices of the OMM everything bread and layer with the steak, cherry peppers, and arugula and you’ve got a date-worthy centerpiece. Then it’s on you to figure out the brew (we suggest an ale from our friends at Night Shift Brewing) and movie!
